Company History and Profile Aegis Associates, Inc., was formed in 1991 by Michael St. Martin as a commercial Construction Management, Land Use Planning and General Contracting firm. The firm steadily grew in size and complexity of its projects. In 1998, Kent Liliedahl joined Michael and they formed Aegis Construction, Inc. Kent and Michael previously worked together in Houston, Texas for a large, regional commercial General Contractor. Aegis builds in the Metro New Orleans and Southern Louisiana areas. Project size ranges from $50,000 to $6.5 Million. Bonding capacity exceeds $6.0 Million; The company is fully and adequately insured. Aegis is an approved Contractor for the following: First Baptist Church of LaPlace, Archdiocese of New Orleans, Archdiocese of Baton Rouge, Hibernia Bank, River Parishes Hospital, Trinity Industries (NYSE), General Growth Properties (NYSE), Ramada Inn, Holiday Inn, Gulf Coast Bank, Community Bank & other corporate entities. Type of projects includes office buildings, religious, educational, institutional, bank, hotel, industrial, warehouse, interior build-out, medical, municipal and governmental. In May 2005, Kent, and his wife Louise Laborde Liliedahl, purchased 100% of the company. Louise has been the firm’s Office Manager since September of 1998.
